🔗 Open Loops Carrying Forward

Ship Reviews in progress

Tech Designs awaiting re-review — none flagged this week (no TD has Alex as the blocker).

Delegated tasks overdue (real follow-ups needed)

Incidents without postmortem

PFRs awaiting decision summary — none active.

📅 Next Week Setup

TP Suggestion

  • iOS Address onboarding conflicts with unified input and ship AI onboarding winner (due Jun 5).
  • Reasoning: This is already set as TP, kicked off May 26, scope is locked, 6 subtasks active with PRs in flight. Next week is the execution and ship sprint. Two subtasks are due Jun 1 (Try Visiting a Site Background, Address Bar Toggle animated assets) — both unblock the Jun 5 deliverable.
  • Concrete focus for the week: get the 4 subtasks currently in top_priority shipped, land the Treatment B winner.

Upcoming rotation

  • None starting next week per the data.
  • Note: the macOS Weekly Maintenance rotation closed May 23. Next rotation assignment (if any) hasn't surfaced in the DB yet.

OOO / coverage

  • Gary — OOO May 1930 (returns Mon Jun 1).
  • Dominik — AFK Jun 13 (LDX3 '26) and Jun 45 (Public Holiday). Effectively out the entire next workweek.
  • Alex — Partly AFK Jun 812 (WWDC '26). Prep handoffs the week before — that's next week. Identify which AI-onboarding subtasks Alex can't drive while watching WWDC, and stage handoffs.

1:1 with Dominik

  • Last 1:1: May 26 (this past Tuesday).
  • Next 1:1: would normally be Jun 2 (Tue), but Dominik is AFK Jun 13. Likely slips to Jun 9 or async.
  • Items to bring whenever it happens:
    • WWDC partial-AFK plan (Jun 812) — coverage and which subtasks are at risk.
    • AI onboarding ship status — what's left to land for Jun 5.
    • Stale delegated tasks (Deepankar autofill, Anh Do DBP) — decision: close or escalate.
    • Postmortem backlog (Security Triage AI edit link) — Alex was supposed to close this 8 days ago.

🏆 Wins

  1. Discord AI agent incident postmortem closed with concrete action items — 22 stories of discussion synthesized into a clear next-steps list (GDPR follow-up scheduled, Mattermost bots requested, security analysis closed). Clean wrap-up of a hairy incident.
  2. TP handoff executed cleanly — completed previous TP thread May 25, kicked off new project May 26, scope set within 24h, PRs in flight by May 28. No dead time between TPs.
  3. Captive WiFi Portal Support shipped within its 2-week timebox — closed May 27. Worth flagging next perf cycle.
