🔄 Didn't Move
Stalled DRI items (top_priority/active/inbox, no activity 7+ days, not yet due):
- Postmortem: Security Triage AI: edit link — last touched May 21. Carrying over from prior incident work; needs to be written.
- Xcode build speedup skill — last touched May 22. Side project, naturally deprioritized by the new TP.
- Alex Shurgin – HR — last touched May 22. Likely meeting prep; check if still relevant.
- Agent for task triages setup — no activity since May 12.
- EP2 TD Calibration - Alex — no activity since May 1.
- EP3 Implementation Calibration - Alex — no activity since Apr 29. Calibration cycle items; check deadline.
Older backlog (likely STALLED — assess for closure):
- Many
quick_wins/do_later/hack_daysitems untouched since Feb 2026 or earlier. Candidate for a backlog grooming pass.
Delegated tasks badly overdue (assignee hasn't shipped):
- Login autofill shows empty field in macOS Browser — Deepankar, due Nov 17 2025. 6 months overdue.
- assertionFailure when DBP url is opened — Anh Do, due Dec 12 2025. 5 months overdue.
- Privacy Triage: Apple - iOS: Demo tracker blocking after chat in onboarding — Jake Abel, due May 21. ~1 week overdue.
🔗 Open Loops Carrying Forward
Ship Review in progress:
- Ship-Review: iOS: AI onboarding for custom product pages — open, last touched May 29. AOR approvals status unclear; check thread Monday.
- New: Alessandro flagged Ship AI onboarding winner (Treatment B) needs a Ship Review before rollout. Need to create it / route it.
Postmortems not yet written:
- Postmortem: Security Triage AI: edit link — still open. >3 days since the related security work concluded — getting close to OVERDUE on the "major incident postmortem within 3 days" rule.
Delegated follow-ups needed:
- Deepankar (Login autofill — Nov 2025): nudge or close as STALLED.
- Anh Do (assertionFailure DBP — Dec 2025): nudge or close as STALLED.
- Jake Abel (Privacy Triage — overdue 1 week): direct ping needed; this is blocking the experiment ship path.
PFRs: None open in window.
📅 Next Week Setup
TP Suggestion: Continue with iOS Address onboarding conflicts with unified input and ship AI onboarding winner.
- Reasoning: This is the active TP, set May 22, with a 2-week window targeted that closes ~Jun 5. 4 sub-tasks in flight, 2 PRs already up, kick-off done. Two of the 0.5d sub-tasks are due May 29 (today) and need to either land or carry to Monday. Most urgent: route the Treatment B Ship Review (Alessandro's flag from this morning) so the experiment can ship before WWDC AFK starts Jun 8.
Rotation: None starting next week. macOS Weekly Maintenance DRI just completed May 22; next rotation per schedule TBD — no immediate action.
OOO / coverage:
- Alex: Partly AFK Jun 8–12 (WWDC'26) — one week away. Prep needed:
- Land or hand off the 4 TP sub-tasks (Treatment B ship, back button, free plan hide, stop chat button) before Jun 8.
- Confirm coverage for Crash Reporting secondary AOR during WWDC week.
- Brief Alessandro / Costas / Pete on UTI project status before AFK.
- No close collaborators flagged as OOO next week.
1:1 with Dominik (Career Advisor):
- Dominik :: Alex Regular 1:1 Agenda — last cycle was May 26. Build agenda for the upcoming 1:1.
- Items to bring:
- Wins: iOS Toggle Project shipped + postmortem closed; new TP kicked off cleanly; Discord incident wrapped.
- Heads-up: Treatment B Ship Review just got flagged Friday — may compress timeline against WWDC AFK.
- Open question: EP2/EP3 calibration items have been idle since early May — confirm timing.
🏆 Wins
- Shipped the iOS Toggle Screen project end-to-end this week — A/B/N experiment concluded, winner selected, postmortem written and approved by Costas and Alessandro. Clean close.
- Closed out the Discord AI Agent security incident — both the Full Analysis and Incident Postmortem landed by May 28, with explicit thanks from Jonathan Jackson and Jeanna for the thoroughness. GDPR follow-up scheduled, action items captured.
- New TP kicked off without friction — UTI + AI onboarding winner project went from assignment → scoping → async kick-off (Alessandro's request, slots full) → 2 PRs up, all in one week. Strong start against a 2-week window.
